The general upshot of which is that I now have a ice-cream maker :-)

Just in time for the summer!

No instructions though, but presumably it'll just be a case of making it cold in the freezer, popping the ingredients in and stirring.

Will have to experiment next weekend

So, I've done my usual trick, and found the charity shops.

As I result I've gained:

• A clothes valet (as I needed something to hang things on in the bedroom)
• A set of cast iron kitchen scales (I've always loved proper scales with weights - suspect I may need to get new weights though as the smallest one is 2 oz).

It was generally a good IVFDF this year and involved meeting lots of new people and not being recognised by lots of old ones (it seems having shorter hair is a good disguise), even if it was sandwiched between busy weeks.

They even recognised my fame and put a photo of me in the programme :-)
